MATURE ADULT PROGRAMS

Whether you’re 18 or 80, you owe it to yourself to stay healthy. We know that the body starts to decline from the age of 35. However, even if you’re over 50 or 60 and haven’t started – it’s never too late! As a certified older adult fitness specialist, many of our clients are well into their 50’s. We’ll show you how easy and beneficial it is to “fight the good fight”, reduce the onset of normal aging symptoms and maintain (or begin) a sustainable and joint-safe routine.

TRAINING OUTDOORS

Fitness and exercise is not confined to the gym (nor should it be)! Find out what challenging options lie beyond the four walls of a gym. I always encourage clients to get outside and take advantage of other activities that the outdoors offers. Whether it’s a gentle hike on the North Shore mountains, the Grouse Grind, cycling the various seawalls or learning to roller-blade, we will ensure an energetic and fun outdoor session designed around your interests and abilities.

SPORT/EVENT TRAINING

Training for a new event or getting back into an old one? Cross training is the sensible way to prepare for and improve your performance for any sporting activity. Whether it’s back to the slopes, golf links or your first (half) marathon, let us show you how to get the most from your pre-event prep by designing a specific program that will boost your abilities while keeping you injury free.

INDOOR TRAINING

Exercise techniques and tools continually evolve. Let us ramp-up your program that progressively challenges all the components of your health and fitness needs. We will design a comprehensive, flexible and detailed exercise “prescription” that allows you to eventually follow it independently in a safe, confident, effective and efficient manner.

SHOP SMART!

We will accompany you to your local grocery store to teach you how to select wisely from the abundance of options. Keeping in mind any nutritional special requirements you may have, this will make navigating the food aisles so much easier and help you to understand how to read labels, the myths about fats, sugars, and sodium and how your personal preferences can be incorporated to still enjoy your food!

ON-LINE PERSONAL TRAINING

For those who would like our assistance but live too far to meet us in person, we can still help you reach your goal and needs. KS Pro Fitness offers you the convenience of on-line training, no matter where you live!
We’ll work with you through emails, Chat or Skype – whatever is easiest for you. And we’ll stay in constant contact to monitor your progress, give you feedback and support and motivate you throughout your transformation.

CUSTOMIZED TRAINING

No two individuals have the same needs, abilities, weaknesses or goals, so no two people should be given a “cookie-cutter” workout! After we thoroughly assess you, your program will be as unique and “personal” as you are. We aim to custom-fit all our clients’ workouts in the most challenging and timesaving way, whether you are a beginner, or advanced, or just returning after a long lay-off from a health and fitness lifestyle.

NUTRITION

No matter how hard you exercise, if you don’t eat wisely, you can’t expect to make much progress or reach your goals if you ignore how you’re fueling your body.

Based on your lifestyle, nutritional deficiencies, allergies and food preferences, we can guide you along the way and educate you on the basics and beyond. It need not be complicated or time-consuming – just sensible, sustainable, and reasonable recommendations, or meal plans if need be. And we’ll keep you accountable during the entire process.

We offer package pricing for the following services:

All package prices are based on a minimum of one session per week.
All sessions are a maximum of 55 minutes (with the exception of on-line training).

** Please note – we do not offer single sessions.
